Learn To Make Kimchi and Brunch on SG-Korean Food

This Saturday, 19 Apr let’s try something different. There’s a recently opened veg restaurant – Boneless Kitchen, https://www.facebook.com/thebonelesskitchen?ref=nf – which features a mix of local and Korean dishes, all served without garlic or onion. The place is run by Rose, a recent NUS grad.

Rose is offering us a special $25 brunch package consisting of a choice of mains, either kimchi stew or sweet potato noodle; a side dish platter and a homemade drink, either barley or green bean. Best of all, Rose and her team will teach us how we can make our own kimchi, and we’ll each take home 500 grams of kimchi. Making kimchi is surprisingly easy. Thanks to our tropical weather, there is no need to wait six months for the kimchi to ferment. 48 hours does the trick.

Plus, the restaurant is less than 15 mins walk from Ikea on Alexandra Road; so, after a hearty brunch, you can pick up something for your home.

Payment must be received in advance of the meetup. Please kindly confirm your RSVP by making the SG$25 bank transfer to the following POSB Savings account as soon as possible:[masked]-2. Please let Pauline ([masked]) know your transaction ref no. when you've done so.

Thanks and see you on Saturday. --george

You're most welcome, Sarah. I think you'll find lots of like minded people in England, as they have a large Vegetarian Society and a large Vegan Society there.

    Thanks for participating.

Someone asked if all the food will be vegan. The answer is an enthusiastic Yes. We go for that at all our events, even if the restaurant has other items that are not vegan or no even vegetarian. Thanks for the question.
