*** Please accept my sincere apology that I have to move our February meetup date from February 8 to February 15. I just got an urgent business trip plan starting from February 7 and coming back on the 9th. Therefore, I'm sorry I have to reschedule it to the 15th of February. All other logistics remain same. I hope for your kind understanding! Warm regards, James the Organizer
Love singing? Feel like karaoke this weekend but can't find pals to go with? Dreaming of becoming the next American idol? Or just stretching your vocal code once in a while?
Why don't we meet up for our karaoke outings regularly? We've had a few meetups so far, and as far as I know, everyone had a great time!
We regularly meet once a month. Come enjoy our next karaoke outing at a local karaoke box called Cafe Muse located in Annandale, VA!
The Karaoke Box is different from karaoke bars as our group rents a private singing room with a decent sound system in the room reserved only for us.
Sounds like a lot of fun? Let's sing together soon!
***** For those who'd like to know how the Private Room Rental is charged
Karaoke boxes rent out a private room by various different sizes on an hourly basis. Each member shall pay roughly $5 per hour.
Please be noted that we're in no way affiliated with Cafe Muse and we the organizers don't make a single penny out of the private room rental fee.
The only reason why we picked this one as of now is because they have a few thousands of songs on their equipment while other karaoke boxes' equipments have only a few hundreds.
There's one more reason I personally like this place. They do sell beer and drinks but there's no waitperson. Unlike karaoke bars, they don't push you to order drinks or food at all. So, you can just SING (or order your own drinks) and enjoy your own pace.
But yes, it's far from even where we the organizers work and live, so I wish there's one as good as this one in downtown D.C. Why don't you open one? I'll stop by as often as I can.
Please feel free to recommend any other karaoke box or noraebang with that many thousands of songs if you know any, in the vicinity.

Go read what others thought of this venue. There always are pros and cons.
And before our meetup, go try it by yourself. It's addictive.
