A Sound Bath involves sitting or lying in a relaxed position whilst sounds are created all around you. You simply close your eyes and give yourself over to experiencing the sound as it arises and falls away. The cumulative effect works on body & mind to release tension and bring deep relaxation and well-being.
The experience of listening to sound seems to engages the right brain and is a direct route into the experience of just being in the present moment. So simply sitting or lying down with eyes closed, experience these healing vibrations and allow them to wash all tension from the body. The force of gravity will do the rest. You know you need this!
Bring a mat and a blanket for your own comfort as your body temperature will drop as you enter a deep relaxed state.

VERY IMPORTANT: AFTERCARE
After any sound healing session, you may find yourself deep in a non-verbal state. You may not feel like talking immediately. It can be good to just sit quietly for a while in the room. It is really important to ground oneself in the body before re-entering the outside world, especially if driving etc. So, we will finish with some tea & nibbles - eating is very grounding! - to ready us to re-enter the shared social space. Bring something edible to share if you like.
