Welcome to our concept of setting up this group with meetup.com. It is our Passionate Mission to encourage all singles (and Particularly the Single Dad's) not to hibernate in their lonely single status at home in front of the telly, but to Come Out and Mingle & Don't Stay a Lonely Single.

Being a Single Divorced Dad with four beautiful grandchildren & together with my own personal experiences after finding myself in the single scene again after 28yrs (25yrs married), I have eventually found after now in my seventh year of being on my own, that there are many available options out there with good, decent people & some of whom are also going through & battling in the same system instigated "process".

It is our aim to bring you some of these positive events, functions & people in our meetups. Which then you can choose between the various events & functions that you would like to attend, so that You Can Make Some New Friends & Catch-Up with existing ones on a true, genuine & understanding friendship basis.
And then who know's, maybe develop a courtship of some sort if you so desire.

All age groups are welcome to attend our functions, including children at our specially organised events for the "Single Parent's Children As Well Functions"
