Today we're off on one of my favourite Bus trips with Backroads Touring Co. to what the locals call "Straddie" - ie: North Stradbroke Island.

An enjoyable 45 minute vehicular ferry trip across beautiful Moreton Bay will land you on an island which has the atmosphere of a place much further away. Beaches, lakes and wildlife abound on this amazing, relatively untouched place. This unique island has a colourful history along with a complex and fragile environment.

* Free time at Cylinder Beach for a swim between the flags and or a visit to the popular Straddie Hotel for lunch or a cold drink with spectacular ocean views.

Swimwear, sun protection, lunch or money to buy it & your camera to capture those magical moments.
