"To have a friend, you must first be one."----Ralph Waldo Emerson.  This group is for Single professional men and women in their 40s and 50s in North Palm Beach and Martin Counties.  We are first and foremost, an activities group for singles who prefer an active lifestyle.  We have a fabulous group of people, over 325 wonderful single friends and still growing.

A great way to meet people in the area who are single and want to do things together since this area has so much to offer.  There is so much to do in Palm Beach County.  Please join and post your ideas.  $2.00 to join and $2.00 paid every 6 months.

A great way to make friends of the same gender, or a nice alternative to meeting someone of the opposite sex so that you can make "friends first".  Many of our friends are perfectly happy just remaining single.  Our group teaches us that "there's nothing wrong with being single".  Mainly we just get together and do things as a group.

We have a lot of active events such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking, bowling, and golf.  A lot of cultural events such as Cabaret Music/264 the Grill in Palm Beach, Norton Art Museum, Artigras, Wine Tasting events, and dance lessons at Club 111 in North Palm Beach.  Past events have included Paddy Mac's for St. Patrick's Day, Chef John's in Jupiter for a night of Jazz, the Celebrity Dog Wash in Jupiter, free outdoor concerts in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Sunfest, Karaoke, kayak and canoe trips, golfing on Saturday morning, and morning walks along the beach on the weekends.   Wednesday nights at Spoto's and other places in the area for happy hour, BB King's, Sailfish Marina, Sunday afternoons at the Square Grouper, Tiki Hut Riviera Beach, dueling pianos at Pineapples in Abacoa, and the Pig Roast often at the Rum Bar on Sunday nights.   Two years at Little Italy Italian Fest in Abacoa, Wine-Tasting at Total Wine, the Boat Parade (our biggest turnout), Canoe Trip at Grassy Waters Preserve, Hawaiian Luau at the Rum Bar, Go-Kart Racing at the PB International Speedway, New Year's Eve and SuperBowl at the Yardhouse, Pizza Night on Wednesday nights, the list goes on and on.  All of this we did in our first 12 months together.

One of our friends is a certified wine Sommelier, one plays on a kickball team, some are tennis players, some are divers, teachers, accountants, engineers, musicians, race car drivers, one works at the airlines, some are nurses, a realtor, a doctor, a financial advisor, and a few entrepreneurs.  We all have this in common: we're all  single, in our 40s and 50s, love living in South Florida, and love, love, love to get together and have fun!!!
