Swing it if ya Got it- East Coast style

This is THE group that went Salsa crazy for awhile and if you got that rhythm, you can do the American equivalent - East Coast Swing. Our Intro Level class for June is East Coast Swing (next on the list by request). Lots of fun and energy and this is the "Swing" considered real swing. This is the the get down get funky (eventually) 40's and 50's swing, works great with Big Band stuff. This is the one you should have good shoes for, heels not necessary (or even desirable) one of the few places dance sneakers work well. NO STREET SHOOOOZ!

I almost forgot and we do have some new folks so - this class is run by Tempo Ballroom and Latin dance studio and there is a $10 a class charge or you can purchase a 10 class pass of $85 good for any group class or simple, single class yo may take outside the group (a group class before one of their parties..)

Please RSVP for all the sessions so we can attempt to maintain balance or better yet, grab a partner (and bring two friends)!! Please keep your RSVPs up to date, I'm marking out the no shows...

Get some swing music and just let it "get into you". I have a CD (or a double) something like "The Only Swing you'll ever need" or the Only Big Band... GREAT compilation. I work with a group that supports the Honor Flights and they have "Hanger dances" like in the 40's, the next one will be a Meetup. AND even more cool stuff next month!!

Once again, it's time for social refreshments before the class. I'll be at Oliva (Turkish/Italian) restaurant across the parking lot from tempo at 6:00. Drop me a note so we can save enough spots.
