In previous years, I have hosted a dinner for people like me who have had transitions in their lives and may not be spending Christmas Eve with their families or loved ones. We have had a wonderful time enjoying the holiday together. For those of you who attended the Annual Christmas Party, we can do it all over again: eat, drink, and be merry: lots of great laughter and conversations. Although we will leave the naughty / nice gift exchange to the Annual Party, let's do a fun gift exchange that we have done in the past. Please bring a new pair of socks wrapped in 2 different wrappings. In other words, wrap each sock separately. We can also go look at Christmas lights as an option. My neighborhood has beautiful displays. And of course, the eat and drink part. Please bring whatever you wish to drink and share or not share (alcohol / no alcohol ) your choice. I will either make a turkey or a ham so please bring something to share that goes along with turkey or ham as the main dish. For those of you who like to cook main dishes, please feel free to bring a main dish one of your choice. It would be great to have more than turkey or ham as the main dish. The 6:30pm start time is flexible. You are welcome to come early and cook here if you wish. I also have space to stay over night if the weather is bad or if you want to drink and not drive. Merry Christmas to all my very special SPDA friends old and new. Please only send "yes" RSVPs. Please do not send "no" RSVPs. I will know you are not coming via the attendee list. Thank you.
