Single Parents Group based in Melbourne.
Three Things To Remember...
1. You need to have children of your own, to join this group.
2. You must show up to all family-friendly events with your child/children. This does not apply to parent-only events.
3. Please make a Gold Coin donation at each event you attend.
4. If you repeatedly put your name down and do not show up at events, you will be removed from the group, after three events where you have done that. Please update your RSVP status if you will no longer be attending - It is the polite thing to do!
SPOAA is for, and run by single parents, who want to meet and socialise with other single, and like-minded mums or dads, and their kids.
SPOAA is all about creating child-friendly social activities to bring parents and their children together, to have fun and participate in a relaxed and safe atmosphere.
Most events will be family-friendly and you are required to show up to those events, with your child/children. However, there will also be events that are only for the mums and dads, where children are not included - this will be made clear in the event itself.
Please ensure your Request to Join this group, is completed with the following:-
1. A clear headshot, or family shot.
2. A real name - no fake names permitted.
3. Your profile is complete and all questions are answered with details.
We do not tolerate any unwelcomed behaviour or messaging from members, towards other members; so we encourage all members to report any kind of unfavourable behaviour immediately, so that the offending member, can be removed from the group.
Our goal is to make sure our members and their children are safe. This is not a platform to find people to date, this is a family-friendly group. However, in saying that, if you do form a friendship with another member and that develops into romance, that is great. Please do not join this group with the intention of finding someone to date or hook up with.
