Memorial Day Beach Picnic

This is a unique opportunity to try out your skills in a competitive sports and entertainment environment. The event is 100% free.

This is a tournament that involves all spectrums of the world. This event will take place at Huntington Beach in Bay Village, right on the beach!

MANY of the guests at this event are attending to hang out and enjoy the beach, tan, swim, snooze, eat, drink, or people-watch, all are welcome to participate in the optional tournament.

MAIN EVENT! Volleyball tournament. There will be a tournament with teams/brackets/players determined at the event due to unpredictability. Plans call for a 6 on 6 game at all times. If more than 12 players are present, subs will be used or if 18 or 24 people are present, 3 or 4 teams will be made, respectively.

PLEASE BRING DRINKS, FOOD, SNACKS, PAPER PLATES, SILVERWARE, GARBAGE BAGS, POP, SUN TAN, etc. Remember - the weather is extremely hot forecasts, so dress approriately, bring water or something to drink. ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED IN THE PARK. That's not to say people don't do it. That's also not to say if you do bring it, please conceal it and be careful and do so at your own risk.

There will be an official 20's and 30's welcome center setup adjacent to the volleyball court on the beach. There you will find a place to chill, listen to music, eat food, and talk to the other people at this HUGE EVENT. There is a bathroom 50 feet away, the lake is right at your fingertips for anyone who needs to cool off. IMPORTANT INFO: The volleyball court is public and open to anyone on the beach not just our group. When arriving, come to our welcome center because we can not guarantee the volleyball court will be available all day, so that may not be our group playing at that specific time.

Bathrooms on site. Changing room at top area in the park. No rain expected all week so water quality should be very good. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE realize the beach will be VERY BUSY, probably maximum capacity, so look for our group. CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE. THE PARKING LOTS WILL BE FILLED. You will probably have to park in the big lot on the other side of the street, as the park gets very busy on weekends when it is nice out. CALL Kevin at[masked] if you can not find us, are lost, or need directions. The park has a honey hut ice cream and concession stand available, but we highly recommend bringing your own food and drink. Bring a chair or blanket and your swim clothes.

NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON BEACH. This has been a problem in the past. Some members find ways to "sneak the beer cans", just do so at your own risk. Smoking is permitted on the beach. We will have music and as many extra supplies as possible.

We'll be on the beaches all day from 2pm until dusk. Park remains open till 11pm.

SUGGESTIONS: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, swim clothes, a blanket, something to drink.

PARKNG: Park in main parking lot on south side of Lake Avenue.

BEST TIME TO ARRIVE: 2pm. Tournament begins after 3pm.

SWIMMING: YES, many of us will be swimming.

QUESTIONS: DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK THEM NOW IN ADVANCE!

Details subject to change so check back regularly!  Also I have a mystery guest that many of you will be happy to see again!!

Running a little late, but my sister and I are heading to Huntington Beach. I would like to play volleyball, and she wants to just hang out in the sun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
