At the Church of the Covenant front terrrace....
I can't tell you how great it feels to see the terrace used for this photo. I drew the design for it in my mid-20s, while I was working as an architectural intern for Bob Gaede in his office downtown. Actually, the design that was built was the third (!) design I presented to the church building committee. Originally the terrace was envisioned to link the top of the accessible ramp with the tower entry, to provide accessibility all through the tower and building.
But use as a meeting place like this is just exceptional. It really makes me happy to see everyone in this photo.
