Lost Dutchman Marathon: The 11{+t}{+h} annual Lost Dutchman Marathon is held at Prospector Park in the Superstition Mountains. Southwest Valley Regional YMCA Olympic & Sprint & Mini Triathlon/Duathlon: The YMCA hosts this fifth annual Olympic triathlon, sprint triathlon and duathlon event. Kiss Me I'm Irish Run: Try your luck at running at this event held on St. Patrick's Day. It features a 17K run, 8K run/walk, 4K run/walk and a dash. The race also features a "Dads & Lads" team race. Green T-shirts or technical shirts and chocolate kisses are provided with registration. The event also features Irish music. Details: 7:17 a.m. Saturday, March 17. Westgate City Center, 6770 N. Pat's Run: The eighth annual run is held in honor of former Arizona State University football player and Army Ranger Pat Tillman. The race winds through Tempe and ends at the 42-yard line of ASU's Sun Devil Stadium. The event also includes a 0.42-mile dash for kids age 12 and younger. Tempe International Triathlon: The 11th annual event attracts nearly 900 competitors worldwide. The race offers an international distance triathlon (1,500-meter swim, 40K bike ride and 10K run) and a sprint triathlon (400-meter swim, 20K bike ride and 5K run) throughout Tempe.
