EZ Ski in the Sandias: Ellis, Forest or Rocky Point

FRESH SNOW!!! Just in time for Spring Break, & I need to stick close to home (see FYI).

Clocks spring forward an hour Saturday night, so it will feel like 8:30.

Anyone is welcome who wants to join me in an easy Class 1-2 ski, Ellis trail or tucking into the woods, possibly Rocky Point, depending on snow & who shows up. I'll also post on ski club. Snowshoers are also welcome; just follow protocol of staying off the ski trails. We wanna kick and glide! You can make like Sasquatch if you want to - great exercise.

Meet for carpooling at the east edge of Albertson's at Central & Tramway at 9:30 or a bit before. Look for my old blue Honda CRV w/roofbox & ski racks (good thing I didn't take those off yet!). I can take 3 riders. My cell is[masked] but I may not pick up if driving or getting myself ready. Bring on the snow!!!

Wear layers & sunscreen, & bring at least 2 liters of water, plus power snacks or lunch. I could see stopping at Greenside Cafe in Cedar Crest after for lunch or hot chocolate.

FYI, Santa Fe got 14.5", Taos 17", & the Jemez is bound to have snow, too. Wolf Creek got 21".Get out there and enjoy it!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
