Steve Poltz is a singer/songwriter originally from Nova Scotia. Hey, anyone who comes on tour here with Nova Scotia & Newfoundland their last stops deserves a listen from me! There is a nice article about him in the Friday Venue (Aug. 16). I'm ready to relax & enjoy a picnic on the biopark lawn - but am bringing a plastic poncho, as T-storms are possible. Use your own judgment as you see how the weather develops - I won't take "attendance". You are welcome to join me, & if you want to bring a picnic item to share, maybe post that in your comment box when you RSVP. I'll have a flowered blanket spread out to put food on, sit on, & claim some space; also a rust-colored low chair & a small square blue soft cooler. Food & drink (beer, wine, margaritas, etc.) are available for sale. It does save some time to purchase your ticket on-line & print it at home, if you're sure you are coming (no rain refunds, sorry). I love this venue & am happy to take my chances with T-storms. Getting there at 6 is recommended due to crowds; music starts at 7 & goes until 9. A headlamp or flashlight is helpful, as it will be dark when we return to parking lots.
