The Ojito during a full moon is quite a spectacular place to visit. We'll carpool from the Target parking lot, leaving promptly at 6 PM, and should arrive at the mountain bike parking lot around 6:45 PM. Driving distance one way is probably around 50 miles, with 6-8 on decent gravel roads. Hiking distance will be around 4-6 miles. Elevation gain is very minor, till coming back and then we should gain maybe[masked] feet. NO DOGS OR WHINERS! Most everyone is welcome, but there are somethings you need to take into account. 1. It will be dark. 2. It will most likely be very cool. 3. Don't expect to use your flashlight much (it blinds the others). 4. Lots of holes in the Ojito. 5. The ground can be rough. 6. Crocagators come out at night. I would rate this hike as Moderate. For more information ask your questions on this site or if necessary call me at[masked]-8189. Mike and Ivan will not be on this hike as they don't drive well at night. Riders need to be willing to reimburse their drivers at the rate of $.10 per mile round trip. If you just like to sign up for activities and then cancel at the last minute, I will remember you!
