Meet in the parking lot at far east end of Indian School Road, it at 5:45 PM. Tonight we will go up the Embudo Trail.
We plan to leave at 6:00 PM and go about 2.5 miles and find a place to stop, take a break and return. There most likely will be water running through part of the trail, so be prepared for wet shoes. This trail does have several places where stepping over rocks on the way up is required, but I’ll help you up if needed. On the way down, we will take a different way but the last 100 yards is a little steep, but has a great view of the city. This hike will be 4 days before the full moon, so we’ll have moonlight on the way back. Darkness may catch us on the return, so bring a flashlight, warm clothing, snacks and water. Hike at your own pace and enjoy yourself. No dogs please on this hike. Hiking Distance: 4 - 5 miles, Difficulty: Easy.
