March Fourth Marching Band at Dirty Bourbon

MarchFourth Marching Band Wednesday, December 12th @ 8:00 pm At The Dirty Bourbon 9800 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque MarchFourth Marching Band is a high-energy surrealist global-groove alternative big band, propelled by electric bass, diverse percussion ensemble, and brassy horn section. Visually enhanced by costumed dancing beauties, acrobatic stilt walkers, fire, and theatrics, Portland, OR-based M4 invokes dancing in the streets and beyond! MarchFourth writes and performs its own material, and also draws inspiration from an eclectic range of worldwide influences, such as Eastern European Gypsy Brass, Samba, Funk, Afro-Beat, Big-Band, Jazz, and Rock music, as well as television, film, circus, and Vaudeville. Read more about this show, watch videos, and find out how to buy tickets! (this is copied from AMP concerts website) Co-hosts: John Costea & Marcy; concert 8:00, but we'll try at 7:00 to get a table.

For those of you who were not able to attend, you missed a great, fantastic, amazing show. It was almost two hours of non stop high energy entertainment; really hard to describe. For those of you who did attend, I hope you enjoyed it and will be there when they come back to town.
This truly was an amazing show, so much more than the last time they were here.
By the way, for those of you who could not attend, you missed seeing Marcy really cut a rug on the dance floor; you go girl!

My sources are telling me that there's no food served at the Dirty Bourbon, just drinks, but that they allow you to bring in food from other nearby restaurants (but no drinks).

Let me just add a few things. This is a 21+ event, the doors open at 6:00, concert starts at 8:00. if you've never heard of this band you should watch their video, they are diffferent. I saw them last time they were in Abq. and had a blast; it was a double date with my son which was very wierd.
