"Fringe" boomers are welcome in this meetup for active singles in their 40's-60's who enjoy doing things with a group of people committed to a healthy, active lifestyle. This is a cooperative volunteer group, with event hosts & assistant organizers leading a diverse range of activities, with an emphasis on the great outdoors and our vibrant Albuquerque arts scene (and some exploring in other parts of the state). Hiking, bicycling, xc & downhill skiing, snowshoeing, camping, rafting, dancing, music, happy hours, potluck parties, BBQ's & picnics, art shows, concerts, opera, theatre, film - need I say more? Interested leaders can always add more! Key words: 'ACTIVE' & 'SINGLE'. Unmarried couples are welcome, but single means divorced, widowed or unmarried. While not a dating service per se, we'd all like to make new friends. Let's conduct ourselves like grownups. FYI, activities are generally "adults-only" unless an event leader specifically invites children.  GROUND RULES: Be considerate & appreciative of activity leaders & update RSVP's. Three no-shows; too much negativity or drama & you will be dropped from the group. Friendship encouraged before dating. Please be discreet and try to remain cordial. If you have an issue with a member, communicate this to one of the organizers. Bring your sense of humor and your joie de vivre! Let's get out there & PLAY!

Please do that on your own time & website. Thank you!  However, in the interest of building community & helping each other out in this economy, we are going to try to use the message board for some networking, as long as it doesn't get abused.  Any member can post employment opportunities, pet adoptions, other help there.
