Watch for the Meetup parrot.
It is summertime, the living is easy and a Progressives' favorite returns. Listen to free music on the grass at the Deer Valley Amphitheater in beautiful Park City. The music starts at 6PM and goes til 8PM.
Bring snacks to share; something refreshing to sip (adult beverages are allowed) and a blanket or outdoor concert (low to ground) chair.
Note: No official carpooling this year but you can post on the meetup if you need or want to share a ride.
Tonight's band is Afro Omega.
'Afro Omega was founded in 2003 by Bronté James following a vision he received at the Lee “Scratch” Perry concert at the Maritime Hall while living in the bay area in 1997. AO has been blessed to have traveled the U.S for the past ten years playing in front of thousands of souls from NYC to L.A. with an ever-growing global fan base. AO brings a combination of conscious lyrics, soulful harmonies and powerful hooks backed by solid rhythms. With the group having seen no boundaries, Afro Omega is proud to be a part of the GLOBAL reggae movement and is reaching new heights with the release of the new album, “Move Like Light!”. AO brings conscious lyrics and music that is epic in scope, reality driven, futuristic yet classic at the same time. '
Get out of the valley heat and join us for good company and music on the mountain.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
