A couple of months ago we sent our Policies out to all current members. And from then forward, these policies have been sent to all new members. They are also listed on our Meetup site under the Pages tab at the top.
In these policies we ask that everyone post a recognizable picture. There are many members who have not done that. New members are require to post a picture within 2 weeks of joining.
There are several reasons why we require this. We need to be able to recognize each person attending the Meetups. It's very difficult at some of our events with large attendance to know who is there without a picture. Also, we have many events hosted in a member's home and again we want to be able to account for everyone there.
This policy is going to be strictly enforced. If you do not have a recognizable picture posted, please do so. We are going to put a one-week deadline on this. If you have not posted your picture in 1 week your membership will be deleted. If you have joined in the last week, you will still have 2 weeks to post a picture.
We want everyone to have a fun and safe time at all of our events.
If you no longer wish to be a member of this group, please respond to this email and I will remove your membership.
