  • Myanmar, formerly Burma, has been living behind a veil of secrecy for decades and has just recently opened its doors to the outside world. Chef Michel has been to this part of the world many times, but only just briefly as he ventured over its borders from locations in Thailand.

This cooking demonstration includes a full meal compromising three dishes and accompanied by green tea. Recipes are also provided. For more detail about the dishes, visit Global Gourmets.

Bring your adventurous palate and inquisitive appetite to this unique and delicious event. Feel free to bring your friends too!

Chef Michael & I look forward to cooking and dining with you soon!

Coffee and bottled water will be available all evening.

    See you there!

NOTE: Loblaws changed their policy for using their culinary classroom. Now they charge $25 + tax per person, the same as for their other cooking class events. These funds go to Loblaws and they provide us with the training room, cooking equipment, and most of the food. You can pay at the Loblaws store on St- Jacques. Refunds are provided only if Loblaws cancels the event due to insufficient registration. They require a minimum of 10 prepaid participants to hold the event.

Chef Michael speaks French and can answer questions in French. So far there has been no need to present in French. Written recipes are also available. I'm believe you should be able to follow and interact.
