There is nothing like a good picnic in the park, so don't miss one. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, all the condiments, plates and tableware along with sodas and water will be available. All you need to bring is a dish to share - appetizers, salads, vegetables, fruit, finger food, breads, or desserts are good options. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in city parks, so don't be tempted. A donation of $7 each (Children 6-15, $3, under 6 free) to cover the cost of furnishings. We'll start cooking at noon and start the serving around 12:30 and finish when the food is gone or 2 PM, whichever occurs first.
We'll start playing volleyball around 1:00 and play until 5 PM. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing with old and new friends watching the games. If you don't like to play volleyball, that's no problem, bring a lawn chair, blanket or recliner and relax or become a cheering section. Feel free to bring other games such as Frisbee or croquet. Children are welcome to come to the park, but these games will be for adults only. Bring a single potential Meetup member to make the day an enjoyable social event. Leader: Tom Mizner [masked] or cell[masked])
We plan to have a portable restroom available. I will need help with getting tables and chairs to and from the rental place and help setting up the popup canopies, 2 BBQ grills, volleyball nets and keeping the tables cleaned up and taking money. If you can help out with anything, let me know. No dogs or pets please.
Volleyball Rules are simple:

6. No kicking or throwing of the ball or equipment which may cause injuries to or be threatening or offensive to any participants.
