We are a group who wants to expand, but not so big that it becomes less personal. We keep it smaller by removing members who join and NEVER attend anything for 6 months. Anyone can rejoin at any time if their interest changes, and they decide we are the group for them afterall. Once we get to know you well, you are a member forever. We meet about three times (or more) per week. We are all single, however, there are some couples who have met during the course of this club's existence. Yes, we are all 39 and over, and we are all "holding". We are Baby Boomers and most of us are closer to 45-65. We are mostly from the West Valley but certainly not limited to those areas. We do pool shooting, movies, dinners, karaoke, baseball games, bowling, trivia, concerts, and dancing to name a few. This group does a lot of volunteering, including one or more times a month at food banks. We have collections 3 times a year for less fortunate people. These Meet-ups are all on a volunteer basis, none are mandatory to participate in. In February, we collect prom dresses for teenage girls, in July we collect school supplies for needy families, and in October we collect blankets for homeless people. We also have house parties, usually they are potlucks and BYOBeverage affairs. These house parties are for established members only. Once we have met you in person, you are considered established, and due to the ways of the world, then and only then, is a new member invited into private our homes. We are a real down to earth bunch, and pride ourselves in being friendly, and welcoming. Matchmaking is not our main goal, however it is not discouraged.
