Ready for another movie night? yes! last time was a lot of fun and no doubt this one will be even better! We will pick a guy flick so we can encourage all the men to attend! Once we decide on a movie, I will post it!

Welcome to this great group, THE NIGHT OWLS! I created this group with the intention of attracting positive, fun, joyful single people who want to meet like minded (AND DON'T WANT TO DRIVE TO Dallas for everything). People that whine, complain and live in the past, is not a match for this group. A positive attitude is contagious and I want us to surround ourselves with that positive energy.

TYPE OF ACTIVITIES- OUTDOORS AND INDOORS!

I post a variety of activities. Happy hours are fine, but there are many many other venues we enjoy as much including Six Flags outings to ride the rollercoasters, Pocket Theatre so we can throw popcorn at each other, dining out to unique mom and pop restaurants, wine tastings, taking the Dart so we can go ride our bicycles to White Rock Lake, dance classes, walks at Arbor Hills on Saturday mornings.............well............its endless just check out our past meetups or go to the photo section!

FEES, GOLD MEMBERS, FREE MEETUPS, FEE MEETUPS

There is a $25.00 registration annual fee. Once paid, your profile will show as a Gold member. Meetups range around $5.00 to $25.00 to cover some basic costs. Some meetups will be for Gold members only so please pay your dues!. Lots of meetups are totally free!

I am about to launch our season tickets for the Meyerson, Opera, and Theater plays/musicals. This past year, a group of us had season tickets to these and it was the highlight of my year!

GOOD DEEDS: REFERRAL LIST, TEXAS SENIOR HELPERS, HELPING HANDS, CHRISTMAS DRIVE

Along with fun stuff, I encourage everyone to join me in helping others. I am in the process of making a list of referrals in our blog. All of the self employed could use our help. During Christmas, we have our BACK PACK DRIVE to give to the homeless. Another volunteer opportunity for you all is helping our seniors in nursing homes. They are the most neglected group of humans. We will all be there soon enough and its time to change the nursing homes who tragically neglect so many helpless people. We adopted Victoria Gardens in Frisco. If you are interested, please let me know! We are called, TEXAS SENIOR HELPERS. Another group called HELPING HANDS is our caring committee to HELP EACH OTHER for those of us who don't have family and need help at times. In case of illness or a challenging time in our lives, we can help each other.

YOU HAVE A GIFT TO SHARE!!!! I truly believe that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, join us because I am sure that you have a gift you can share and you can contribute to the joy of this adventure in friendship. There is nothing more important than good friends. We can't count on our children (they are too busy or live away) and we can't count on acquaintances or co-workers to always be there for us so start making new friends!
