The scenery I heard is fantastic so this is a close-in travel spot to not miss. Option is to fly in or take the train, if you take the train just know that it is 16 hours each way, departs Seattle 4:45 p.m., and going coach means sleeping in your train seat. Alaska Airlines flies directly into Kalispell, about 35 minutes from the Park, only a 1 1/2 hour direct flight each way. $149.00 each way at this point. The train is $122.00 each way. I am flying in. For lodging, The Western Inn is one option with camping style cabins, $70.00 per night. It can be found in the link below, but the link does not have all of the accomodations in the area. There are numerous chain hotels in Kalispell. Rental cars I think will be needed so make those arrangements to your preference, but the Park does have a shuttle system as well.
