Dinner & a Movie: 'Heaven Is for Real'

Here's the final update for this event:

We're meeting up an hour prior to show time, which is at 4:45 PM. This will give extra time for stragglers who show up late due to getting lost, and allows people to buy tickets, snacks etc. We can sit outside and chat for a few minutes and spend time getting to know each other better too, and this will also help any new people to feel more welcome as part of our group.

This event is being posted on other Meetup.com sites and couples are welcome!

This film ("Heaven's For Real") is set for release on April 16, and Sunday afternoons seem to work well for many people. Waiting a week or two after release assures that we don't have to deal with huge crowds, but that may not necessarily be the case. It's been more than a week since 'God's Not Dead' was released and people were sitting in the aisles for our last event to see this movie.

We'll be having dinner after the movie at:

Eureka! in the Bella Terra Mall, 7631 Edinger Ave. #1524, Huntington Beach 92647, 714/[masked], eurekarestaurantgroup.com (near the Bella Terra Residences...across from Corner Bakery).

Please let us know if you'll be joining us for dinner after the film!

We had a excellent turnout with over 40 people at our last "Dinner and a Movie" event, and I mentioned to the participants that I would schedule a meet up for this film starring Greg Kinnear as the father of a small child who has died and been revived.

• Prices for the matinee are $9.50, or $9 for seniors, but Costco members can purchase tickets at Costco for $7!

• Coupons for popcorn and drinks are available by signing up for weekly email at www.cinemark.com.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
