This will be a two-hour ride starting at 4:00 PM sharp. Please come at 3:30 PM so you can meet the other riders and get set up. It takes some time to get out to the property, which is a house with the horses in the back. You will ride quality trail horses; experience the Palos Verde Peninsula with an experienced guide? In addition you will learn about the flora, fauna and native history from the guides. The ride costs $100 and you must bring cash, they do not take credit cards. The cell phone of the owner Pat is (310)[masked], call for directions or use your GPS. It may tell you the address is in Palos Verdes. They have 21 horses so they have a horse for any size, ability and weight. We will have a barbecue after the ride with hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks. Visit
Wagonwheel Ranch web site to see the horses.
Ask to wait list if full.

The ride was way more than expected. I rode Bud, a Thoroughbred Clydesdale mix that was well trained and a joy to run with. Pat Murnane the owner lead us on the ride with commentary and some pretty funny jokes. We trotted, galloped and wandered between million dollar homes and huge fields of wildflowers. The ride was supposed to be two hours but Pat was in no hurry and we were out for much longer than the promised time. The horses were outstanding, the type that you would want to own. We will do this ride again April 12. Anyone interested in riding lessons and a wine social contact me.

The best ride I have had in years.
I've been looking for someplace to ride monthly.
Now I've found it and will share the location with all I know.

    Thank you Jerry
