Secure, fun-loving, compassionate.
8: No one is a perfect person but having the characteristics I've listed below are components of 1st a great person which lends itself to being a good friend. I'm open-minded and at my core am a live and let live kind of person who believes in accepting others as they are w/o a lot of judgement.
It means being true to myself, revealing the core of who I am and accepting the same of others. Being honest, encouraging, supportive, a good listener, a person who doesn't sweat the small stuff, uplifting.
* Really take the time to get to get to know one another through various activities, discussions as opposed to just planning a bunch of busy activities that every other meet-up group does. * Once we get to know others, furthering that connection which builds a bond. * Respect others ideas, opinions even when different from our own. I think bonds are built when there are activities in small groups. Interactions are more impactful when there isn't always a hugh crowd attending an event that doesn't allow the conversations where we learn about one another. Have events where attendance is limited...makes people more committed to attend.
Yes, I'm open after August.
Looking forward to connecting and making friends in a group that's not just about attending a lot of busy events/activities which really do not foster a "getting to know one another" atmosphere.
