This is a continuation of the July 22nd 'Learn to crochet' meetup! But don't fret - if you missed that one but still want to learn to crochet or help teach crochet -you are welcome to attend! This is a CROCHET ONLY meetup!
Co-hostess Julie Bantin, will be helping us move forward with our Granny Squares! If you will be learning to crochet, Julie recommends bringing: worsted weight 4-ply yarn - Lion Brand or Red Heart. (They are both good yarns, but affordable and not too fancy or chunky for learning to crochet.) The best hook size to begin with is H, I or J. They come in a lot of different materials (plastic, metal, bambooo, etc.) - purchase what feels best to you. Also bring a sissors. If you can not make the $5-$10 investment to learn to crochet at this time, Julie has a plethora of hooks and yarns you can use during this meetup.
Please bring your crochet materials and a (non-alcoholic) beverage if you want one!
The last 'learn to crochet' meetup was maxed out! Please stay on top of your RSVPing! And remember: parking can be tight downtown - so please plan accordingly! A 'no-show' because you got tired of looking for parking is still a 'no-show'!
See y'all there!
