The third annual Sustainability Film Series continues on Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m., with the screening of Switch.
Switch strives to be a truly balanced energy film, and has been embraced and supported by people all along the energy spectrum – fossil and renewable, academic and environmental. So what does the future of energy really hold? Join energy visionary geologist Dr. Scott Tinker on a spectacular global adventure to find out.
The four-part film series' theme, The Edge of Civilization, explores different viewpoints of environmental sustainability and human stewardship of the Earth. Every month through May, visit the Bell Museum on BIG Thursday night to take in these beautifully made, thought-provoking films. Films are free with UMN student ID or museum admission.
The Sustainability Film Series is sponsored by the Bell Museum of Natural History, University of Minnesota Housing & Residential Lifeand Institute on the Environment/Sustainability Studies Minor.
