  • what we are doing

    This class is for people who are currently working on a writing project. It might be one that is roaring ahead, or one that you had shelved for a while and now want to return to.
    We will workshop each person's project - no matter what stage its at, in this three hour class comprised of discussion, suggestions, questions, participant readings, and feedback.You might be writing a short story, novel, creative non-fiction, memoir, biography, or essay.
    Come along with your questions and problems and any aspects of your work that you want to workshop in a group setting. Please be prepared to read your work. Please also be prepared to receive open and honest feedback from participants. 
    The focus will be on helping you find the tools to realise your own project and enabling you to benefit from group feedback.

    If you RSVP for a class and fail to show up, you will get a "no show". Three no shows means you will be removed from chalkle. You may request to rejoin after six months.

    - after 7pm night before = no refund and a no show will be recorded.
