what we are doing
Ever been put on the spot? Lost for words? We'll take you through some basics of public speaking, with a bent towards things you might find useful in an interview, for example getting to the point, structuring your answer.
You'll have a try with a little bit of impromptu speaking so you can practise. Don't be afraid! Everyone will be in the same boat.
what you will learn
You'll learn to think about what to say when put on the spot: how to construct a coherent answer to get your point across.
You'll also learn a little about what Toastmasters has to offer if you are thinking of joining a club or coming along to a Speechcraft course to take your public speaking talent further.
