Welcome, New York Social Justice Movie Fans!

Do you love movies and then discussing them afterward? And are you committed to furthering social justice? Let's see movies that spark awareness and then discuss them over a vegetarian dinner! We either see films in the theater or have potluck gatherings to watch a DVD. As schedules permit, we support film screenings at local non-profits as much as possible as well as attend cutting-edge features in commercial theaters.

We also love collaboration! If you have any ideas for a film outing, are showing a film yourself or would like to step in as a guest host, just ask. :)

**IMPORTANT: Before each movie, the coordinator will send out her or his cell phone number. For films in movie theaters, the meeting spot will be in front of the box office. Please arrive on time and look for familiar faces - - if you don't connect with the group, call the coordinator.**
