Paying with PayPal
Don't want to wait for the Meetup? You can pay your Organizer right now through PayPal.
PayPal.com is a popular website that makes it easy to use the internet to send money from one individual (you) to another individual (your Organizer). There's a lot to learn about PayPal and the best way to learn it is from their own website. For your convenience, we've provided a link below to their educational materials.
Before you click the link below, note that PayPal is mostly used by people buying and selling on eBay — therefore a lot of their material refers to "buyers" and "sellers". So it makes sense in terms of Meetup, wherever you see the word "seller" replace it with "Organizer" and wherever you see the word "buyer" replace it with the words "group member" (that's you!).

Things Meetup.com needs you to understand:
Sending money over the internet is very convenient but can be a little complicated at first. Make sure you read and understand the following information:
- Registering at PayPal.com requires that you enter a credit card or a bank account number. We know this makes some people uncomfortable; whether you do so is up to you. If it helps set your mind at ease, PayPal is owned by eBay, one of the 10 biggest websites in the world.
- Your Organizer will see whatever email address you use at PayPal.com. While you likely trust your Organizer, if you rather he or she didn't see this email address then you'll need to work out another way to pay your Organizer.
- Your payment will be sent directly from your PayPal account to your Organizer's PayPal account. Meetup.com is not involved in the transfer of these funds, has no control over how your Organizer spends the funds, and unfortunately cannot help you recover funds in the case of a dispute.
- I accept Meetup's Terms of Service regarding payments to Organizers and limitations of liability.
