how do i protect the edges of my board so it doesn't get anymore cracked

Hey jennifer i'm a sophmore in highschool. I skate in a small town called millburn in New Jersey. I know how to do a couple of slides and tricks but i'd like to learn more. I also thought it would be more fun to skate in a group!

I want to learn how to powerslide, but still haven't made it out to a Friday Night Rip yet
