Annual Freethought Fourth of July at Hoops Hall

Join the fine folks of The Rationalist Society of St. Louis for our annual Independence in Thought and First Amendment Celebration picnic. This is a family-friendly picnic in the back yard at Hoops Hall, a 4 family building that serves as home to the Rationalist Society. We will start the grill at about 5 pm, and provide some chairs and tables - quantities limited! Please bring your own drinks and picnic food, and side dishes to share. We will provide some iced tea and a conveniently located bathroom or two. We will be able to view the riverfront fireworks from a grassy knoll just around the corner from Hoops Hall at about 9:30 or 10 pm. The Rationalist Society is the oldest freethought organization in the U.S. and this a very fun event with all kinds of freethinkers, atheists, skeptics, and who knows what else.
