Not to keep promoting the Science Center but this might be good. It is a panel discussion with a number of prominent scientists who will discuss the public understanding of science. (sorry that is all I really know about event so far. One of the panelists will be Nova scienceNOW host and noted skeptic Neil deGrass Tyson who is often compared to Sagan. He is a great speaker and will be worth the trip. The event is free but I will have to reserve spots. I would like to meet in the Museum lobby at 6:45 or so.

    •  Very exciting and informative. Our lead organizer Michael got to the microphone and made us all proud to be skeptics. Very good meetup.
