Over the last few months i have gotten no indications of lectures. This seemed odd in that during the winter and spring there were many. Confused?

If you're free Friday night, be sure to come out to Skeptics in the Pub. We'll kick off the night with some free skeptics trivia. The winning team will receive (to divide amongst themselves) a copy of Carl Zimmer's Smithsonian Intimate Guide to Human Origins, a Richard Dawkins Foundation backpack containing a free DVD and other cool Richard Dawkins stuff, a free massage by a science-based massage therapist, and a Skeptical Society of St. Louis t-shirt (we'll also have t-shirts for sale for $15 if you're interested in getting one). You can find people to be on your team once you get there, or assemble a team of all your smart science-loving friends in advance. Again, this is completely free, though if you want to contribute anything to help offset the cost of reserving the room ($100), that would be much appreciated.

Also, if you're an atheist near Franklin County or know someone who is, there's a new group starting up there that you might want to check out. For more information, check out oups/rationalminds/ or email collaboration.rational.min [address removed].
