This is the Meetup group for the Skeptical Society of St. Louis and is open to anyone who would like to meet others interested in examining and challenging the extraordinary claims of religion, the paranormal, alternative medicine, cryptozoology, creationism, UFOs and all other areas of fringe and pseudo-science. We promote critical thinking, education, and the rigorous application of the tools of science for the critical examination of these areas. We are not debunkers but just people who think all claims should be held to the same standards of evidence. True believers are always welcome.
