Skepti-Luncheon with Special Guest Ben Radford - No Host

BEN RADFORD is a prolific author, investigator, co-host of award winning podcast Monster Talk and deputy editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine. He is also the creator of the board games, Playing Gods and recently, Undead Apocalypse: War of the Damned.

Ben will be in town that weekend giving a CFI Feed Your Brain lecture in the morning of the 21st in Hollywood, and in the afternoon in Costa Mesa.

The meetup luncheon will be after the IIG meeting on Saturday. Free parking in the CFI parking lot, walking distance from Palermo's.

If you've never been to an IIG meeting, the first two meetings are free. The IIG meeting begins at 11:00 AM at CFI. Meetup members are welcome to attend and see what goes on, if you are coming to the luncheon to meet Ben anyway!

Well-known for being the first investigator to uncover the origin of the legendary chupacabra, and one of the busiest skeptics on the planet, more information about Ben is here.

We want to give him a warm welcome to Los Angeles - and we are glad to have this luncheon to meet him in real life!

There is also parking at the restaurant, public parking lots on the side streets crossing Vermont Avenue, and excellent public transportation. A Metro Rail Red Line station is at Sunset and Vermont.

Thanks to CFI-Los Angeles for providing free additional parking.

Is there a reason why Ben's sunday lecture at CFI isn't on your schedule (or any other Feed Your Brain lecture)?

      Will be remedied shortly. :-)

Thanks Wendy. When you post these events in advance it makes it easier for other groups to cross post them.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
