  • CFI-LA

Bring a snack and join other readers on the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM for CFI-West's Book Club for Skeptics. Visitors welcome! Heck, you don't even have to have read the book to join in the conversation!

October's selection: THE ENTERTAINER by Margaret Talbot

We should be in the upstairs meeting room, but if not, there will be a sign when you come in the door from the parking lot to guide you.

**Many more folks show up for Book Club than you will see RSVP'd here, so please don't hesitate to show up and join in!!**

For more information about the Book Club, feel free to email me!

I would love to be part of the book club. Here's the problem: the book selection is not announced far advance enough. One would need at least a month to get the book and then read it. Or IS IT announced way ahead of time. If so, where?

The books for upcoming months are in the Meetup event descriptions - you can look at the scheduled future events to see what books are coming in the next few months. They are posted to the Meetup events as they are decided in book club.

For along time I've recommended reading shorter articles, maybe up to 20 pages in length, they changing the name from book club to Readers Club. We could post URL's to point to the agreed upon artlcle found on line. I've suggested this before. But no one has taken me up on the idea. For example has many articles of general interest for intelligent thinkers. - Gary

Thank you Louise! I'll definitely try to read those books.
