Brewing Skeptically, the Return!

That batch of SkepticAle along with another batch of Hefeweizen are both conditioning in their respective kegs. Both should be eminently drinkable on Saturday, June 11th. So...

It's time for the second installation of Brewing Skeptically! Again, we would like to host a Drinking Skeptically event at our home in Granada Hills, Saturday afternoon, June 11th., from 1:00 to whenever. Home brew and bottled beer will be provided as will wine, water, and sodas. It will be an open grill so bring your own fixin's for the BBQ. We'll provide some snacks, but feel free to bring some extra sides as well. I expect the weather will be warm and so the pool is also available, so bring suits and towels if you want.

Granada Hills, CA 91344
Hope to see you!

As expected; good times, good people, and good conversation.

If everyone had even half as much fun attending as we did hosting, then this was a success. We had a blast and I think the Skeptic-ale and Hefeweizen made a good combo.

This was my first event since joining this group. I think I definitely represented the left end of the bell curve among the brainiacs there. Conversation was lively, the home brew was tasty (especially the "skeptic-ale"), and the jalapeño sausages were a treat!
