Drinking Skeptically -- The Federal Bar in NoHo [No Host Event]

Drinking Skeptically is an informal monthly social gathering for skeptics.

If you wanna show up and have some Drinking Skeptically fun, we are back on our 2nd Friday routine and on the schedule at the Federal Bar in NoHo for the new year! There will be a special area reserved there for our group... the door folks or barkeeps should be able to direct you. Come on out and enjoy!

Check out the Federal -- http://www.thefederalbar.com/

Drinking Skeptically provides an opportunity for skeptics to talk, hang out, share ideas (and yes, drink) in a casual, relaxed atmosphere with like-minded people. We discuss the issues of the day and topics related to science and skepticism. But most of all, we have fun while promoting skepticism, science, and rationality. Non-drinkers are certainly welcome as well. And as you might expect, drinkers are strongly encouraged to drink responsibly. Center for Inquiry-Los Angeles is co-sponsor of the Los Angeles chapter of Drinking Skeptically.

So sorry I missed it! I took a nap but the alarm didn't go off and when I woke up it was... 9pm. Again, I apologize. Will definitely be there next time.

Hi, just joined the group. How long do you usually stay at the Federal? I have something in Van Nuys until around 9 on Friday but would love to join you.

The reservation for the space at the Federal ends about 9:30, so it would really depend on who shows up and how long they decide to stay -- it can be variable! I know that's not super helpful... but it is a tough call to make, especially later in the evening!

Thanks - sounds like you'll be winding down then. I'll try for the next time.
