Darrel Ray's" End of Summer Picnic."

  • September 2, 2012 · 4:00 PM

For address contact Cole Morgan  [masked] [masked] Labor Day is coming up, and it's time for Darrel Ray's "End of Summer" picnic / BBQ!  Sept. 2, 2012, 4:00 until?? It's a great time to sit back and relax, and spend time with some fellow freethinkers and RR people over burgers, brats, and beer.  There are usually[masked] people that show up for good times and grilling. Darrel's place is big enough for a large group and sits on a large piece of land in Bonner Springs.

Bring something to eat, grill, or drink.  I'd recommend a cooler, lawn chairs, or any other picnic-related equipment you care to bring.  If the weather isn't too hot or dry, there will be a campfire.  Fishing in the pond is also encouraged.  This event is family friendly, so bring the kids! Camping is allowed, bring your own tent etc. A few beds are available for those from out of town and wish to stay all night, or you can just sleep on the floor in the house. Space is limited so, first come first serve for sleeping in the house.

To cover the cost of cleanup, preparation, and incidentals, Darrel asks for a $5 donation for all non-students that attend. You can obtain directions by contacting the organizer of this meetup or FB page.
Look forward to seeing you all there!

I had a great time, with good people. I have rarely met a host that is so easily comfortable with so many people-Thanks, Darrell.

That is almost on my way since I live in south KC and take 435W/435N all the way to I-70, but I plan to crash at Darrel's for the night and leave in the morning. He has some indoor space and plenty land to pitch tents tho.
(Bonner cops are out in full force during holidays, as I can attest to what happened after the the last Memorial day picnic.)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
