Re: Atheist Survey - Why am I an atheist?

Like everybody else I was born an atheist and was not indoctrinated into religion by my Russian Orthodox mother or my freethinking Soviet military father. I have never seen any evidence for a deity. It will be trivial for a deity to reveal itself to me in a rational and verifiable way. The deity if it exists knows what needs to be done to convince me of his presence. Most importantly, this deity needs to convince me that he has something to offer me that I cannot get otherwise without it even if it exists. I'd like to know if there is an intelligent designer which would be an astounding discovery, but not willing to waste my time and spare any efforts looking for a deity who acts delinquent parent in a world that is exactly like he doesn't exist.
