David Korem's father, David Wellington, was called "the world's greatest con artist" in a 1972 book by Wall Street Journal reporter Jonathan Kwitny. He is an escaped convict who faked a death in a Mexican prison to call off the FBI manhunt, and has been living in the open in Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Redwood City, ever since.

They moved from religious fraud in the 1990's, to alternative energy companies in the mid 2000's, to alternative medicine companies and Chiropractors, and now, to using the pseudoscience in forensic psychiatry for crime. China hired David Korem to market securities in its 4th largest agricultural company, Yasheng Group, working out of its office on Veterans Blvd in Redwood City. Korem's oldest son is the fiancé of Yasheng Group's president. Korem’s next son is the prize mathematics student of Woodside Priory, the Catholic Church's only Benedictine School in the US, where they laundered their money for 15 years, under a 1st Amendment religious freedom claim.

Alt Med corporate magnate religious fraudster Pearalasia Gamboa's perpetually "estranged" husband and business partner, also a Los Altos, Palo Alto, and San Francisco resident, is four times convicted felon and historic fraudster David Korem. Korem claims to be directly descended from King David. He created Melchizedek, and wrote a Bible for it, published by www.ChristianScience.com.

David Korem was in multiple news stories, each for a different historic fraud crime - Forbes (1991), NBC (1992), Wall Street Journal (1993), Indiana Star (1994), Sacramento Bee (1995), Washington Post (1995), Dallas Observer (1996), Washington Times (1998), CBS News 60 Minutes (1999), Asia Times (2000), New Zealand Radio News (2000), La Republica (2002), etc. He is out of prison on probation, serving only two years for his fourth major felony conviction, and is at it again. He is based in Santa Clara County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

On[masked], SF Weekly published a cover story where alternative medicine corporate magnate and notable "spiritual leader", Pearlasia Gamboa (alias for Elvira Gamboa), claimed to have died and then been resurrected. - http://www.sfweekly.com/2011-07-06/news/pearlasia-gamboa-dominion-of-melchizedek-fraud-peter-jamison-mysterious-island-nation/full

She is based in San Mateo County. She was president of the first micronation, and was voted to the list of world's most notorious fraudsters by a Nigerian Magazine, for her invention of the Nigerian Prince Email scam. Her micronation, Dominion of Melchizedek (pronounced "Mel-Cheesy-Dick", a crude sexual joke), was "an ecclesiastical sovereignty", to commit fraud under the guise of 1st Amendment protection, was located on an island that was entirely under water at high tide. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearlasia_Gamboa
