Bakersfield Area Skeptics Society Monthly Meetup

Robert Price, editorial page editor of The Bakersfield Californian since 2009, will talk about how editorial policy is determined.

 

Mr. Price has been with The Californian since 1988 and has been writing a regular column since 1999.  He graduated from Sacramento State University and worked with two other daily newspapers before joining The Californian, which he has served in many different roles.  His work has won awards including  the George F. Gruner Award for journalism, the California Newspaper Publishers Association’s medium-market award for outstanding local column, and the University of Oregon’s Payne Award for Ethics.
