I'm a NYC artist interested in a nice excuse to go out and sketch some more.
Oil paint, pencil, pen & ink, anything.
I've always liked the reservoir. I used to work at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and would take my lunches there and go sketch.
Glad to have you in the group Alexander! It sounds like you have quite a bit to balance.. I can relate to the challenges of creating space for creativity. Do hope you're able to join us at some point!
Hi Alexander, how are u? I was wondering if you may know someplace where I might be able get some super cheap art supplies... I want to create something for the May 1st deadline, but I am so unbelievably broke... Like I have 5 dollars in my account broke. Any suggestions?
Draw-a-Thon is from 9pm to 6 am followed by a continental breakfast. We have models, food, music, monotypes until midnight, pool, open cash bar. Demos by David Kassan, Leah Lopez, and Seth Ruggles Hiler.

I want to invite you and the group to the first ever Salmagundi Draw-a-Thon. We're getting the word out late but I do hope some of the group can come. It starts Friday 1/6, at 9, following the reception for our Jr/Scholarship Annual Show. (You're invited to that as well.) We hung the show last night and it is spectacular. to be cont' next post......
Thank you, Alexander. Can't wait for the next one! (And thanks for your kind words about my profile pic. Made my day. :))
