What year did you first learn to ski or snowboard ?

First trip was to Snowmass/Aspen. I am pretty sure I have a few scars still :)

Favorite Resort? Next planned Ski Trip?

I think Vail was amazing. Although I really enjoyed my last trip to breck alot. Next trip? Dec 7th... looks like it is going to top all others

a. What brand/model (ski or board) are you currently riding? b. What were your very first skis/board?

I wasn't quite sure how much boarding I would do.. so I kept my investments into boarding to a mininum, but looks like that is all about to change

Skill Level? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Ski Patroller)

I'd say intermediate. Which I will define as I know enough to get me in trouble. I just push myself a little more each time.

What was your most epic ski experience? Include for example: the year, location, conditions,

I think my first run was epic. I signed up for a boarding lesson with my nephew (he is my original boarder buddy) on our trip. Actually boarding was his idea, I was going skiing, but he said let's try this and it was a challenge and I like those. We headed down for the lesson, which was starting in an hour or so. So with time to kill, we decided snowboarding couldn't be that hard. So we went up clueless. I still don't know how I managed to get off the lift without a fall, but that victory was short lived. About 100 ft later, I took my first spill. It took us almost 2 hours to get down the mountain. We tumbled, fumbled, and dragged ourselves down. When we walked in to the meeting place for the lesson we were greeted with a warm smile and a burning question. "why are you so late to your lesson?" To which I replied "we decided to go up for a run before the lesson." The lady then said "without your first lesson? Well that is just...." "Stupid mam, just call it what it is."

Looking for others who enjoy snowboarding as much as I do.
