Open Source in Finance eXchange

Following on from the success in previous years, this years OpenSource in Finance eXchange will bring together the leading experts in Open Source technology and Financial Services for an informal day of deep technical insight and friendly discussion.

The conference programme has kindly been put together by Alan Hardy, senior FX developer/architect at Deutsche Bank. Alan has been working with experts in the industry to put together an exciting set of talks, aimed at senior technologists, architects, developers and innovators, working for investment banks, brokers, exchanges, hedge funds, betting companies or other industries that rely on highly scalable, high-performance systems.

    To be blunt most speakers were not engaging (due to inexperience?). This meant that their potentially interesting topics did not stick with me nor I suspect several others. Simon's talk however was a highlight.
